At Stemortal we work closely with the team at CK Cell Technologies. Professor Kuldip Sidhu’s team are at the forefront stem cell technology with over 20 years’ experience in the field. Prof Sidhu has published will Nobel laureate’s and his research into stem cells and their by-products such as exosomes is world-class. Access to his laboratories and teams means that at Stemortal we are always at the cutting edge of current and future stem cell technology.

Ground-breaking research

The research into adipose (fat) derived stem cells is most exciting. Adipose tissue is a rich source of potent stem cells and at Stemortal we can use your unwanted fat to create a colony of stem cells in the order of hundreds of millions. In particular, groundbreaking discoveries from our team have allowed us to retro-engineer the fat-derived stem cells into an embryological state. Concurrent research has shown stem cell colony viability which is unmatched by other stem cell laboratories. The embryological status of these stem cells means that these colonies can survive replicate and grow for many, many years to come

New age of research

At Stemortal we are always looking for more effective ways to develop our products. We are currently performing a phase one clinical research trial which assesses the viability and efficacy of stem cells over time. Our Stem cell colonies will be tested every three months looking at survival and biomarkers. Biomarkers are micro-cellular hallmarks of a particular cell’s function. The adipose-derived cohort of patients will be assessed at different age groups to see if the donor age of stem cells has a significant impact on the function of viability of those stem cell colonies. Excitingly Our study is a ‘first in humans’ study.
