Our Process
Rather than discard the fat from your surgical procedure as medical waste, it can be now harvested and processed into valuable stem cell populations. Stem cells have been shown extensively in research to have a multitude of different applications and the list of applications is growing exponentially every day. Internationally, stem cells are used already extensively used for multitude of different presentations.
Step 1
Harvesting
Our initial patient cohort are the lipo-affiliated surgery clients. These are liposuction, tummy tucks, breast reduction and other cosmetic procedures. These patients are already having a surgical procedure to remove fat, performed by an accredited surgeon in an accredited medical facility.
The procedure is being performed with full ethical consent and under strict surgical technique and sterile conditions. Rather than simply discard the unwanted fat as medical waste, as is currently done, some of the fat will now be triaged into sterile storage containers and transported to CK Cell Technologies. Although everybody’s stem cells are effective, research is shown that it is best to harvest and storage younger person stem cells.
Step 2
Processing
Our partner, CK Cell Technologies in Norwest, NSW is an established stem cell processing and storage laboratory facility.
Headed up by the renowned stem cell expert Professor Kuldip Sidhu, Kuldip’s team will receive the fat sample and go to work processing the fat into a cell Bank of 100 million stem cells or more. These cells are then cryopreserved (frozen) and kept in safe keeping for your future medical, health and wellness and cosmetic concerns.
Step 3
Storage
CK cell technologies will then store your stem cells in cryopreservation. This is a process with which our team has extensive experience, having perfected this process and successfully stored viable stem cells for many years already.
We are concurrently performing a phase one clinical trial investigation into the efficacy and storage of these stem cells to further investigate and illustrate the success of CK Cell Technologies techniques. When you need these stem cells for future medical issues they can be re-applied. As time goes by the list of medical health awareness applications is exponentially growing.
Step 4
The Future
The expense of storage processing and harvesting is minimal compared to the lifetime of confidence you will have knowing that your pure, personalised stem cell bank is ready and accessible.
Once we’ve established this process for the lipo-affiliated surgery clients, we will turn our attention to the general public. We plan to offer stem cell harvesting under local anaesthetic, processing and storage for everybody. This is a medical insurance model that obviates all others.
